Seven hours in the same position
It's not the mattress, it's the height
On your back, too much height pushes the chin towards the chest. On your side, you need instead to fill the gap between ear and shoulder. A classic pillow can't do both — that's where the morning neck is decided.
- Profile and height are given on every product page
- The neck should rest on it, not just the back of the skull
- Check the head–spine alignment before falling asleep

Know before you buy
Allow a few nights to adjust
An ergonomic pillow can't be judged on the first night. The foam softens with body heat, and the neck takes a few days to accept a position it had lost.
- Three to five nights before deciding
- Use a pillowcase: the core can't be washed
- 14 days to change your mind, whatever happens
Sound familiar?
You've already tried plenty of things. And it comes back.
Choose the situation that most resembles yours.

You wake up turning your head carefully
The night went well, but on waking the neck is stiff on one side. It takes an hour and a few movements before it feels normal again.
Most often, it's not the mattress: it's the height of the pillow, which breaks the alignment between the head and the rest of the spine for seven hours.
A neck pillow hollows out a space for the head and raises the area that supports the neck.

Your pillow is too flat, or too high
On your back it works, on your side it no longer does — or the reverse. You slip a hand underneath to fill the gap, or fold it in two.
On your side, you need to fill the gap between ear and shoulder, so more height. On your back, too much height pushes the chin towards the chest. The same pillow can't do both.
The height and profile of each model are given on its product page, with the sleeping position it suits.

You flip your pillow five times a night
The foam heats up, you look for the cool side, you half wake up, and you do it again two hours later.
It's not just about comfort: every flip is a micro-awakening, and they add up over a night.
Natural latex and bamboo-fibre covers ventilate better than classic memory foam.
